Who I am

I grew up in the 80s in India, close to nature, animals, and the everyday struggles of humanity. From early on, I was encouraged not just to notice these challenges but to be part of the solution, a conviction that has guided my path ever since.

Over the years, I’ve become deeply interested in the underlying patterns that shape our lives — how we live, what issues truly concern us, and how societal systems interact in complex, often hidden ways. What I have observed is that while the world is full of efforts to solve problems, many of those efforts unintentionally reproduce the very issues they seek to fix. That paradox fuels my curiosity and has shaped how I approach work across technology, public policy, and strategy.

My career began in technology as a consultant, where I led digital transformation projects in banking and microfinance to expand access for underserved communities. As a Siebel CRM consultant and cloud computing specialist, I delivered large-scale integration solutions across India, the United States, and Australia bridging technology and strategy in sectors such as community banking, finance, and field service.

Seeking a broader impact, I completed a Master’s in Public Administration (Public Policy and Management) at the London School of Economics. The program deepened my expertise in policy design and evaluation, with specialisms in behavioural public policy, behavioural economics, urbanisation, systems thinking, strategic philanthropy - third sector impact, and public sector change management.

Since then, I have worked in different contexts - think tanks, and social movements to design strategies that address entrenched systemic challenges. Most recently, as Strategy Lead and Political Strategist at Animal Think Tank, I helped shape political collaboration and long-term strategy for the UK’s Animal Freedom movement.

My earlier consulting work has included judicial reform in India, an analyst role with the Ministry of External Affairs, and policy innovation in governance and public institutions. At Arup in London, as a Capstone Consultant, I designed strategic policy frameworks to support land value capture and transit-oriented development in UK cities, leading research and stakeholder engagement to deliver actionable recommendations for urban policy.

My work is grounded in complexity frameworks, enabling me to map interdependencies, analyse feedback loops, and anticipate emergent behaviours across policy, governance, and organisational systems.

I hold a Master’s in Public Administration (Public Policy & Management) from the London School of Economics, an engineering degree in Instrumentation & Electronics, and certification in Strategic Studies and Foreign Policy from the Takshashila Institution, a Bangalore-based think tank.

Beyond my professional life, I am a trained Hatha Yoga teacher and freelance dance artist (trained in Indian Classical, Contemporary Dance, Kalaripayattu and so on) exploring the intersections of movement, social change, and personal freedom.

I also find joy in the outdoors, film-making, and volunteering at animal shelters — spaces that remind me daily of the beauty, resilience, and interconnection that underpin all life.
