Creative Projects
I actively engage in projects that use creative art forms to express perspectives and stories that do not have a voice in the world we live in. Trained in both Indian and Contemporary art forms, I feel that dance, movement, and other creative art forms are powerful tools to express, connect with, and process the world around us.
Hear Her Voice
A short dance and mixed media film, inspired by stories shared by ex-servicewomen. Through dance, wire sculptures, spoken poetry, and a classical musical score, Hear Her Voice touches on themes that many women have experienced—both the highs and the lows of life. I was part of this amazing collaboration as a freelance Dance Artist with Neoteric Dance Company.
This project was supported by Arts Council England and has won several awards at UK and international short film festivals.
The Wrong Turn
The Wrong Turn is a short dance film that I wrote and directed, exploring the relationship between humanity and nature.

This project was developed with the support of the Storytelling Mini-Grants, in collaboration with SCCAN (Scottish Communities Climate Action Network)
A short dance film 2025 (work in progress) I developed based on concepts I explored during the Expanded Ecologies workshop program at Jewellers art school in Morecambe, UK.
This project explores the question
Where does it all start, where does it end? Am I dancing with the universe , or is the universe dancing with me?

Project: Human Machines: Do We Live Freely in Reality, or Are We Slaves to a Program? (work in progress)
Originally envisioned as a book, this research project explores how our worldview and behaviour are shaped by the human mind and systems such as thought, language, and scientific constructs of reality.

As the work has developed, it has led me into deeper and more expansive territory, and the research is still ongoing.
​
Currently, I am exploring ways to express these ideas through creative mediums such as film and animation, moving beyond the traditional book format.
This is a personal project that I am committed to developing and realising fully, giving it the time it needs.
